Biafra Motherland Warriors: New Militant group emerges in south-East

A new militant group which goes by the name ‘Biafra Motherland Warriors’ (BMW) has emerged in the South East.

It was gathered that the group operate like the Eastern Security Network (ESN), the armed wing of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The group operates around Mbaise area in Imo State.

The emergence of the new group, according to reports, have heightened fear among residents in the area.

In a video which made its way to the internet and has now gone viral, the BMW were seen attacking security agents in Mbaise and burning a patrol can belonging to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

It was gathered that the BMW mandate is to stop the wicked Fulani herdsmen killing, raping of women and ladies, sacking of communities, Fulanisation and Islamisation agenda, and that they have lived up to, even with government hunting them because they are stopping their evil agents of restriction.


Much is not known about the group as at the time of this report as no individual has come out to claim leadership.

The emergence of the new group, according to reports, have heightened fear among residents in the area.
