Nigerian writer shares photos of poorly constructed apartments rented at exorbitant prices in Trinidad and Tobago

Nigerian writer, Eketi Edima Ette has shared photos of some poorly constructed apartments rented at exorbitant prices in Trinidad and Tobago.

According to Eketi, she thought Nigeria was the home of bad apartments until she saw the apartments being rented out in Trinidad and Tobago.

In one of the photos shared, the room had no space for human movement. According to Eketi, the rooms go for as much as N180, 000 a month.

”I thought we had bad apartments in Nigeria. But we’re learning work where Trinidad is concerned.

And these studio or self-contained apartments range from between 1,800 to 3,000 TTD (Trinidad & Tobago dollars). That’s between ?108,000 to ?180,000.

A month. A month o!!!”she wrote
