Osinbajo, Tinubu meet in Abuja amid alleged fight over 2023 Presidency
Vice-president Yemi Osinbajo, Bola Tinubu Meet in Abuja on Thursday Amid Rumoured fight Over 2023 Presidency.
Both men, who were locked in a warm embrace, met amid speculations that they were fighting each other over the 2023 presidential contest.
They both posed for photographs before going into a closed door meeting.
Neither Tinubu nor Osinbajo has publicly declared interest in the race but there are indications that they are interested in succeeding Buhari.
Recall that Tinubu reportedly snubbed Osinbajo during his medical vacation in London by refusing to see him.This, according to reports has made Osinbajo make up his mind to work towards succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari.
The support groups of both men have started campaigning across the country ahead of the 2023 election. Before being elected Vice-President, Osinbajo worked as Attorney-General of Lagos State between 1999 and 2007 when Tinubu was governor.
