“Ghana has no movie industry” – Majid Michel reveals

Celebrated Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel has expressed his frustrations in the lack of a capable and well-equipped movie industry in Ghana.

According to him, most Ghanaian movie producers were businessmen who only had the passion and interest in telling stories by making films, but there was no movie industry to fund and support them in making their films.

Speaking in an interview with Fiifi Forson on Jesus Is The Reason, Majid Michel stated that the introduction of the media and other platforms made it impossible for movie producers to distribute their films, hence the majority of them had to quit.

He stated that most Ghanaian movie producers were businessmen, hence the moment they realized they could not yield the income they expected out of their investments, they had to quit making films.

He also eulogized his colleague, Martha Ankomah for her new movie, saying he prays she makes more of it since there is no industry in the country to back her.

Away from that, Actress Anita Joseph has knocked a troll who advised her against social media after commenting on the marital woes of Sandra Iheuwa saying she hates what happened.

Sandra Ihuewa’s estranged husband took to social media to let out the cat in the bag after rumors of their marriage having issues went viral explaining that he has to end the marriage because his estranged wife loves social media more than their home.

According to Steve Thompson, his marriage with Sandra Iheuwa can not work because she doesn’t care about their home but rather social media always bragging about what she has bout and done and Anita Joseph reacting to that said she hates that.

Anita Joseph disclosed she’s sad with the way things turned out and a troll gave her harmless advice that Sandra Iheuwa’s issue is a warning to her too since she’s also a social media housewife and she didn’t take it lightly at all.

Anita Joseph angrily replied to the troll asking him/her to warn his/her mother and sister.
