DJ Switch slams Nigerian govt as Lagos panel report indicts the Army, Police. DJ Switch has reacted to the report presented by the Lagos judicial panel of inquiry into the Lekki tollgate shooting of October 20, 2020.

Popular Disc Jockey, DJ Switch who was among the 100s of #EndSARS protesters that were shot at by security forces at the Lekki Tollgate in Lagos claimed that at least 15 persons died in the gun attack.

Not only that, she also revealed how the Nigerian government has openly bullied and attacked some of the protesters since the protest by seizing their international passports or illegally detaining them.

Sunday Igboho’s followers protest in Ibadan, demands unconditional release of their Leader

Group on Saturday staged a protest in Ibadan, demanding unconditional release of Yoruba separatist, Sunday Igboho. The protesters, who were mostly youths, carried placards with various inscriptions like “Free Sunday Igboho, “he is not a terrorist”, “Igboho Ni Mi”, “Yoruba Nation now” and many others.

The group accused the federal government of being behind Igboho’s continuous detention, stressing that the case was different in the fight against banditry and terrorism. The protesters, who gathered in front of Igboho’s residence at Soka area, Ibadan later took the protest to Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
