Tanko had demanded a N6 million ransom from the parents of the child and in the process of collecting part of the money, he was arrested.

Abdulmalik Tanko, the proprietor of Noble Kids Nursery and Primary School, Kawana, Kano, has narrated how he used a N100 rat poison to end the life of one of his pupils.

Hanifa Abubakar, a five-year-old pupil of the school, was kidnapped while on her way from Islamiyya School in December and subsequently killed.

Police begins investigation into alleged killing of doctor, his friend in Abuja
Detectives in Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have commenced investigation into the death of a Radiologist, Dr. Obialo Ibe and his friend, who were murdered by unknown assailants in his residence at Games Village area of the FCT Abuja.

According to a source at the Command Headquarters in Garki, Abuja, the police boss, CP Sunday Babaji has set up a team of homicide investigators to unearth those behind the killing.
The victims were reportedly stabbed to death between 8:00a.m. and 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, December 15. According to reports, the house help was suspected to have poisoned the victims before stabbing them to death.

A Danish man, Peter Nielsen, accused of killing his Nigerian wife and daughter, yesterday told a Lagos High Court that he realised that his wife and daughter had died before a doctor arrived.
The defendant testified before the court sitting at the Tafawa Balewa Square, the second time of his cross-examination, which started on November 23.
He was cross-examined by prosecution counsel, Mr Adebayo Haroun, Lagos State Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions

Nielsen was accused of killing his Nigerian wife and singer, Zainab, and their three-and-half-year-old daughter, Petra, on April 5, 2018.

Usifo Ataga’s murder: How Chidinma allegedly used American and Private numbers to negotiate for apartment – Witness tells court

Mogbo further told the court that the suspect, now identified as Ojukwu, avoided calling with her phone number as the Whatsapp chat history between them was with a foreign phone number, registered as an American number. She told the court that she provided all the chats between them and sent to the police by email and also printed a copy while in custody.

The hearing in the murder case of Super TV CEO, Usifo Ataga, continued today November 11 at the Lagos State High Court, sitting at Tafawa Balewa Square TBS, with Nkechi Mogbo, owner of the short-let apartment at 19, Adewale Oshin Street, Lekki Phase 1, where the body of late Ataga was found, narrating how different leads pointed to the fact that Chidinma Ojukwu as the prime suspect in the case.

Giving an account before the court, Mogbo said she advertised her apartment on property websites like Airbnb for a short stay and had agents on the market that advertised for her.


“On June 13, it was on a Sunday, I was at home. About 4pm, I got a phone call from a private number, the first I ignored and the second I picked up. Then there was a lady who said she saw the apartment online and enquired as to whether we have the necessary facilities, which I responded yes.

The Borno State Police Command has arrested three Civilian Joint Task Force(CJTF) members for allegedly killing a teacher, Babagana Ahmed Gaidam. NAN reported that the 42-year-old headmaster of Asheikh Jarma Mega School, at Bulumkuttu Abuja, in Maiduguri, was stabbed to death at his residence at 3am on Monday October 12.

It would be recalled that the Emeka, who was popular for his exceptional culinary skills, was found dead in his Katampe apartment on Sunday, August 1, 2021.

A former porn actress has been arrested on suspicion of murder after she allegedly stabbed her two-year-old son to death and dumped his corpse onto a checkout counter in a Lidl supermarket in Italy.



44-year-old Katalin Erzsebet Bradacs was taken into preventive custody after being charged with murdering her son Alex Juhasz.
