Group asks Kogi Governor, Yahaya Bello to declare presidential ambition. A POLITICAL SUPPORT GROUP, Niger Delta Coalition for Gov. Bello 2023 has urged the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, to declare his interest to serve Nigerians in the 2023 general elections.
In a statement issued on Tuesday and signed by the president, Sambo Temple, the group stated that its membership cuts across the six states in Niger Delta, stressing that the call became necessary considering “his glaring democratic potential to salvage the country out of doldrum.”

The governor shared this thought while speaking when he received the Commander-General of HCN, Joshua Osotimehin, in his office today Saturday, November 13.

Gov Yahaya Bello Presents Budget Of N145bn For 2022

The governor said the budget tagged, “Budget of Accelerated Result” was designed to achieve important macroeconomic goals while ensuring effective delivery of good governance.

Governor Yahaya Bello has presented a budget of N145,896,072,913 to the Kogi State House of Assembly for 2022.
He proposed N90,151,291,251 for recurrent, representing 61.79 per cent and N55,744,781,662 for capital, representing 38.21 per cent.

The budget would seek to provide a conducive environment for investors and donor agencies to operate in the state”,he said.
